Jerry Fairlie – Then and Now
I met Jerry Fairlie many years ago. We were neighbors, both named Jerry, and both played the saxophone — so what was holding us from practicing together?
When I first met Jerry, he had not played much in recent years. Jerry was a bit rusty, but he had a real nice tone and that’s what I liked best.
Over the years, Jerry developed so fast, it is now hard to for me to keep up with him. I am extremely proud of what he has accomplished in such a short time.

Jerry Martini has changed my musical life. Jerry has been a friend and mentor that has been willing to share his “tricks” and “licks” with me. Just having him in my life has made me a better musician. Thanks for allowing me in your life.
Frankie Sourci is one of the finest musicians I know. I love playing gigs with him; he makes it fun for all of us. Thanks for being my friend.
